Today's trap: 쉬 is not "shwee" and not "swee." The ㅅ before this vowel softens into a light "sh," and the vowel is quick. Say "shwi," short and soft, like the start of "should" with a tiny w. Ten-second fix: whisper "shwi" three times fast, then say 쉬세요.

🎙 SAY IT BACK

Sunhee is awake right now.

Cold recall. No looking. Say the whole line to her, both sentences, from memory: the effort one, then the rest one. When you're done, check yourself against the answer key.

🔍️ WORD SPOTLIGHT

수고 (sugo), the anchor of the whole week. Effort. The cost behind the work. Every other block grew out of this one.

쉬다 (swida), to rest. The line ends here on purpose. First it sees your work, then it sends you to rest. Effort, then care. That's the shape of the whole sentence in two words.

Today there's nothing left to fade. The bones are all that's standing, and now you say them from memory.
