๐ŸŒถ๏ธ You worked hard today too (Day 2)

September 15, 2026

Morning! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ โ˜•๏ธ

Same words. Three shapes. Each shape tells the other person how you see them.

Get the shape right and they relax. Get it wrong and, well, we'll get to that on Day 3.

In today's emailโ€ฆ

๐Ÿค—ย STILL WITH YOU

์˜ค ๋Š˜ ๋„ ์ • ๋ง ์ˆ˜ ๊ณ  ํ•˜ ์…จ ์Šต ๋‹ˆ ๋‹ค. ํ‘น ์‰ฌ ์„ธ ์š”.

Say it out loud before you scroll. Answers at the bottom.

You worked really hard today too. Get some good rest.

Answer key at the bottom.

๐ŸŒถ๏ธ HEAR IT

Today's trap: the ใ…— in ์˜ค and ๋„ is a round "oh," lips pushed forward like you're about to blow out a candle. Don't let it flatten into "uh." ์˜ค is "oh," not "uh." Ten-second fix: round your lips first, then say it. ์˜ค, ๋„.

๐ŸŽ™ SAY IT BACK

Sunhee is awake right now.

Today, say two lines back. The whole thing, top to bottom: ์˜ค๋Š˜๋„ ์ •๋ง ์ˆ˜๊ณ ํ•˜์…จ์Šต๋‹ˆ๋‹ค. ํ‘น ์‰ฌ์„ธ์š”.

One breath for the first line. One for the second.

Say it to Sunhee โ†’

Part of every morning.

๐Ÿ”๏ธ WORD SPOTLIGHT

The ending ์š” (yo), this is the ํ•ด์š”์ฒด marker, the soft polite tail. In ์‰ฌ์„ธ์š”, the ์š” is what makes it kind instead of blunt. Drop the ์š” and you're suddenly talking down to someone. That's why we made you find it first.

The particle ๋„ (do), "also, too." ์˜ค๋Š˜๋„ = "today too." Learners love to drop it, but it carries the whole warmth: you're not just noticing today, you're noticing that today is one more hard day among many.

These two tiny blocks do heavy work. Small parts, big meaning.

โ˜•๏ธ CULTURAL MOMENT

One thought, three ways to say it. Same care underneath. Different level of respect on top.
