Today's trap: look at 먹었. A ㄱ at the bottom of 먹, and 었 starting with an empty circle.
You do not say "meok-eot-seo-yo."
You say meo-geo-sseo-yo.
The ㄱ slides over and becomes the start of the next block. Then the ㅆ does the same into 어.
