Today's trap: look at 합. The bottom letter is ㅂ, which is a B or P sound.

Now look at what follows it. 니, which starts with ㄴ.

You do not say "gam-sa-hab-ni-da."

You say gam-sa-ham-ni-da.

When ㅂ runs into ㄴ, the ㅂ gives up and becomes ㅁ. Your lips are already closed for the B, and the N pulls the sound down your nose instead. Try saying "hab-ni" quickly ten times and you will arrive at "ham-ni" on your own.
